I always knew I wanted to be a wedding photographer. I was lucky enough that my husband fell in love with it too and we became a pretty damn good team.

Since 2015 we have been full-time wedding photographers in Portland, OR. And I mean that when I say full-time--only income, need to make it work or we starve--kind of full-time. After a lot of grinding, we are incredibly proud of our business being able to truly support us.

Over time, I realized (much like others) that my organic reach on Instagram wasn't enough to carry me to a fully booked season.

I had a mentor at one point tell me that If I wanted to thrive I'd have to change everything about my business, including how I fundamentally shot and edited my photos. That that was why I wasn't booking, because I didn't shot like everyone else.

That's when learning how to advertise successfully and build a marketing strategy became everything to me. I knew my ideal clients were out there, and after bringing in 25k in one week with one ad I knew I had figured out how to reach them.

Mentored businesses on FB/IG ads for 3 years, decided to hustle more and build a community.

After sharing my experience that FB/IG ads worked for me, a common reaction was skepticism, which is completely understandable. What I'd learned was so helpful to me though that I spent much of my time sharing exactly how, why, and what I did, trying to explain Facebook ads the way I understood it, knowing that it would help others.

That grew a movement, which became a collective of over 2000+ creatives wanting to kick ass at Facebook ads as well. After a period of a few short months, both the Wedding Photography Business and the Facebook/IG ads education business brought in six figures.
