Things Will Change: A 2022 Year End Review

EPISODE DESCRIPTION

Content Warning: In this episode, I talk about suicide, death, and grief.

2022 has long gone, but it’s never too late to look back, take stock, and reflect on lessons learned, and make changes.

Anytime I come across these, they end up being my favorite. The idea of stepping back from the year and viewing it as a whole is not only beneficial, but it provides more perspective to my life and business than any time of year.

My hope is that by sharing these breakthroughs, you will be able to get something from these, but also hopefully incorporate better questions to ask yourself at the end of each year to make your business 10 times more impactful.

Why am I doing this? I feel like many of you don’t get the chance to know who I am. I have my hands deep in so many businesses– not just my own. I also manage and work, at an independent agency level, with many other businesses, where I get to see how they interact with their customers, how their ads are doing, and what their audience says. You are not only learning about my business, but getting a temperature reading on what I’m noticing within the creative industry.

In this episode, we cover:

  • Top 4 lessons I learned in 2022

  • How to engage and connect with your audience more, in a caring way

  • The cons to niching down when creating content

  • The Creation Matrix, and how it can help you feel accomplished and productive

  • How my business shifted in the face of immense loss (CW: death, suicide, grief)
