This ONE Change Made Me $100K Last Year
EPISODE DESCRIPTION
Outsourcing can be complicated as a business owner. We feel like we’re the best at what we do, and we understand our business and our processes the best. Beyond that, maybe we’re wanting some help but limited in what we can afford, and know that a buddy can do what we need cheaply.
Let me tell you: investing in the right people is one of the best things you can do for your business.
I made $100K more this year than last year, and it was all because of strategically outsourcing processes that could be done better by someone who actually wanted to do them, allowing me to focus on what I wanted to and grow my business.
But I didn’t luck into this. In 2018 I failed in outsourcing, resulting in more stress and no growth in my business after a year. I was focused on outsourcing issues vs. building a team that could handle the issues.
In this episode, we cover:
The time when I failed at outsourcing
Why it was a failure
What I learned to look for when outsourcing
Why taking the time and investing the money in the RIGHT person can provide more value
How the Zone of Genius is key to knowing what to outsource
